Twelve hour shifts. Responsible for both halls, all patients in the facility. Meeting their needs, performing treatments and wound care. Staff education. Skin assessments, cath changes, blood draws. Fall assessments. Implementing preventative measures to minimize skin wounds. Charting on computer passing meds. Skilled assessments. Neurological assessments. Evaluation and treatments after falls. Fall prevention. Dr. Calls with changes or concerns. Getting necessary orders. Working closely with PT and their family . Including family in care plans.
